Neville Isdell, IGD Leadership Council member and former Chairman & CEO of Coca-Cola, identified Africa as the “single best place to invest” in an interview with Erin Burnett of CNBC’s Street Signs on Monday. He discussed how Africa’s image has evolved and the continent is now seen as a region with high returns for investors. Isdell highlighted Frontier 100, IGD’s network of CEOs from Africa, the United States and Europe that is helping to encourage investment and promote trade in Africa.
Isdell’s appearance was accompanied by the publication of “Take a Fresh Look at Africa,” an op-ed urging American business leaders to take advantage of significant growth opportunities in Africa. The piece, posted on CNBC’s CEO Blog was co-written with James Mwangi, IGD Frontier 100 member and Managing Director & CEO, Equity Bank.
